With the slow-moving juicers - the kind with the screw auger, or sometimes two - the hole where you insert your produce is so small that you have to spend much time chopping the vegetables or fruits up. I have one of those, and it is great, just perfect, for wheat grass, herbs, and so on. But for apple juice, carrots and beets, it is torture. I so wish for a centrifugal juicer with a large-diameter hopper, where you just throw the whole apple in. The cheaper ones, of course, like the screw auger type, also require a certain amount of food preparation & chopping prior to the juicing.
I'd love to own that top-of-the-line Breville for making apple juice real fast.
