I think the big difference here is the one between raw "living" milk and pasteurized "dead" milk. Your body needs the living enzymes to properly digest and access the nutrients in milk, period. Finding a certified, raw milk dairy is not easy, but it's worth it. The milk is expensive because they go through weekly testing and rigorous sanitization procedures, but even a tiny amount of bad bacteria means the entire weeks' product is thrown out.

I don't like milk, don't drink it, but I SHOULD.
