There are water filters on the market that do take fluorine out of drinking water. I know of one very good brand brand that does this, which I sell [so I am not comfortable naming it here, as that might be seen as advertising.] "My" brand has sink side model that has stainless steel housing that is guaranteed for 25 years. The replacement filters are reasonably priced and frequency of replacement depends on amount of usage. So though the price tag might seem high for the initial investment, it is not expensive over time in terms of long term benefits to one's health. Other companies too may now have filters available that remove fluorine from drinking water. I would not recommend reverse osmosis processes or distilled water as in those cases everything is taken out, making an end product of water that is probably not healthful to drink. Its good you are getting out of the dorm soon. Good luck losing the fluorine from your water!
