Probiotics are best taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and with a lot of water. This is when your stomach acid is the lowest and the water helps to hyperdilute any acid present to protect the bacteria.

Do not take them with food or herbs as many spices in food and herbs are antiseptic and can kill the good bacteria.
