Re: Herbalism and Christianity?

I agree. He has deliberately throughout the ages gradually managed to portray herbs in a bad light by combining them and confusing them with occult practices. The only 'magic' in these herbs is that God provided them for our benefit and they work through the chemical processes inherent within them.

They are plants. All plants have been provided for us by God. As our forefathers have learned over the centuries, different plants can be used for different purposes. Most are very beneficial, a few are poisonous, but even the poisonous ones can be beneficial in their own way - many tribes have also used poisons in hunting for their food.

All plants contain chemicals of some kind or another, and chemical reactions within the plants. Our forefathers have greatly benefitted us by providing us with passed-down knowledge of how to use the majority of these plants for our benefit.

The less we use these plants, the sicker we are becoming. I am currently, for the first time in my life, putting myself through herbal parasite cleansing using herbs that have been used for centuries for this very purpose. I have been sick for 37 years, yet I am now starting to recover because of it.

It recently occurred to me that whilst our ancestors regularly used to 'de-worm' themselves, we no longer follow those protocols and we are all sick as a result. Our immune systems are weakened by Satan's current World control and the pollution, chemicals and rotten 'foodlike substances' that we are constantly bombarded with - it is no wonder that parasites would be moving in.

The Medical Profession, like everything else also under his control, use the knowledge that has been freely handed down to us to isolate 'active ingredients' from the herbs to market into highly profitable drugs that do not actually cure anything because in discarding the very valuable elements that are present in the rest of the plant and that work in 'symbiotic harmony' with what they believe to be the 'active ingredient' they have effectively thrown 'the baby out with the bathwater'.

...'the leaves of the trees were for the curing of the Nations' (Rev 22:2). Although having a figurative meaning in that instance, it also very much applies literally. Whilst Adam lost us the right to literally be able to live and work directly under God's stewardship and be able to tap into his vast knowledge and understanding, God did not leave us without his love and support. We just had to figure out how to use it all. The food and plants he provided for us was just one aspect of that.

Our Almighty Father is indeed a great provider.
