I just did my 3rd flush. Well, so what? Well, nothing, except that it went much better than my first 2 and I wantd to share that fact, for those who, like me, imagined a lifetime of torturous flushes as the way to get and stay healthy. Since my last two were exhausting and EXTREMELY unpleasant, I was really dreading doing this one and almost wasn't going to. (I was craving a fettucine alfredo dinner and was "this close" to going out and having one, since I hadn't had wheat in awhile). But then I thought, well, I've prepared myself and it's the weekend so why not?
So I did it - had nothing but apple juice and one apple - and the flush was fine! So much so that I thought maybe it wasn't really working. But it was. I got lots of stones, several that were more than 1 cm. I had no real sphincter issues either, I think becuase I didnt' have much to eliminate and also because I did teh following to ward off the problem: I applied a tea-tree-oil-and- vaseline mixture starting from my first elimination (with gloves, of course) to the sphincter area and did that for several elminations and things were alright! Also, I wasn't as tired. I was able to talk to my kids, feed my son, etc.
I'd been wondering how people could do flush after flush while feeling so awful during and after, but I see now (first hand) that it does get easier. I'm so glad I did the flush this time!
Thanks for making all this wonderful, AMAZING information available and supporting those who want to do these!
Wishing you all great flushes and great health
PS, My skin is looking a better, still - it's clearer and brighter than six weeks ago when I first started the flushes. Even my husband noticed!! I walked into work today conscious of the fact that I wasn't wearing my lip balm as usual and a coworker commented on how good my face looks this morning. Always a welcome compliment for me!
