Alex Jones is marketeer of fear but he is like the superbowl of alternative media
You have to wade through 15 minutes of infomercials to get to his rants. He spouts for one minute about the Amero and spends the next ten minutes shilling for the next financial buble-gold. He talks about cross species Chimera and Genetically-Modified-Organisms foods that really are poison for 30 seconds, then sells seeds for ten minutes, he takes a phone call and hangs up on the caller and screams about how his life is in imminent danger then tells you he needs you to buy his videos so he can make a tiny amount of money so he can make another film. He talks about mercury in vaccines(which is real), rants about fluoride in water for 1 minute and then puts on ten minute infomercial from a water filtering device(that doesn't filter out fluoride). At the end of four hours, Alex has screamed for ten minutes at callers, thrown in about three minutes of real news, interviews a real guest and talks over him 5 of 10 minutes of the interview, interrupted by three or four infomercials, that is if the interviewee gets a word in edgewise; Alex then rambles on about the guest with 10 minutes of fear driven disinfo or misinfo. sells his next video so in your four hours of programming, Jonestown Enterprise gives his brainwashed followers a total of 187 minutes of marketing. Yawn.
Almost once every six or seven months, I sit in front of a television and try to find something on a television worth watching but it all looks like an infomercial or news propaganda to me. You would think that if Alex had some real info, and it was worth screaming for almost half of his non-infomercial time on air for, he could have a prompter tell his listeners to wake up from their brainwashing long enough to pay attention. There are a few nuggets in there but I have long given up trying to pick the ounce of gold from the mountain of fear driven greed.
