Re: Is water fasting effective for weight loss?

Hey there chrisb1,

"This is also the case if the above is accompanied by what Dr Al Sears MD refers to as his PACE Program..........intensive short bursts of exercise followed by slightly longer periods of restful exercise in between. This allows the body to enter into ketosis, and remain in that state even well after the exercise period has ended, which allows the body to continue burning fat even while resting."

Is this also knows as "Hiit" (high intensity interval training), which is basically sprinting to get heartrate up to 90% or above of max, then walking to catch your breath... then repeating this several times? This is actually what i do.

Sounds good to me if body is entering into ketosis, but i thought i read the body was burning muscle glycogen for the high intensity portion, but that the high intensity exercise stimulates a good amount of fat burning for the remainder of the day. There is evidence to the contrary? In addition to the hope of your reply, I will try to read up on PACE soon.
