Re: Bowel cleanse prior to Liver Flush.
Thanks muchly, awakened, and the rest of you, also, for this much-needed info. I did try the standard epsom-salt flush a few years ago without doing a bowel cleanse first (it was never mentioned as being necessary!) and, yes, I suffered and swore I would find a different method. I guess all I needed was to get my bowels in perfect order first!
I have no major health concerns, except for being a middle aged woman and feeling slightly sluggish and finding it harder & harder to maintain normal weight. These are definitely liver issues. I have not taken drugs or OTC medicines, or eaten un-natural substances (e.g., artificial sweeteners/alcohol etc) or overdosed on sugar, etc. When I feel ill, I just rest & put up with it or take hot ginger tea, etc.
Dr. Sutter says it's parasites that make you feel awful during a flush, and others say it's not necessarily parasites, but just sluggish bowels. I thought if you do a bowel cleanse long enough, the parasites will come out with the old waste, eventually. You have to be patient, though.
