Environmentalism has its place, but unfortunately big business has had its arrogance go to far for to long... and now the pendulum is going to go full swing in the opposite direction. Its natural...
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
The arrogance of the big business will now get their opposite reaction from environmentalism. Something just as arrogant... "religious" to me seems a bit bold, but perhaps fitting to the extremists. More cash gets dumped down the drain in law suits, than gets pumped back into the environment. But perhaps that is whats needed... it seems that laws offer more... protection than anything else.
Companies either need to start eating humble pie, or they are going to get taken down for their arrogance. "Pride goeth before the fall".
Yet the "environmentalists" have yet to take out Mosanto. Quite possibly the most arrogant company I have ever seen. Much more aggressive than tobacco or oil. Perhaps pharma is an equivalent. When the fall finally happens it should be quite the display of fireworks.
