Re: Dealing with ill informed people when water fasting
Interesting post mouseclick. Yes many are very strange that way. They take it as a personal affront when you wish to become healthy.
As a side note, some friends threw me a surprise birthday party, they made lots of "great" food including deep fried chicken and other delights... and when it came to mealtime, it was like, "Surprise!, i've been on a 10 day
Water Fast until today, i can't eat any!". That didn't go over too well ;).
One thing (among others) the ill informed don't realize is that you can't just go back to gorging on heavy foods and birthday cake the day you break a 10 day water fast. The peer pressure of the "ill informed" was quite persistent to "dig in", but after 10 days of water fasting, it wasn't a fair fight. I was at my strongest to resist what i knew my body wasn't ready for.
What they don't need to know is that i don't intend to touch that stuff even months later.
