Re: Thyroid results - Very confused

My lab tests always came back completely normal despite growing a large multi nodular goitre (which ended up "requiring" surgery), having excrutiatingly freezing hands and feet, puffy face, 1/4 eyebrows, little/no body hair, low body temperature, and constant anxiety.

Those tests can't be very accurate lol~ I wouldn't worry about them at all.

Its all about how you feel, and how you look: and that's what I believe you should look at when evaluating your thyroid function.

Specifically indicators are: normal face (not puffy) good mood (even tempered, low anxiety levels) normal distribution of body hair especially full set of eyebrows and leg hair, good quality hair on your head (not coarse, coarse hair is a dead giveaway), normal body temperature & colour (pink lips, not blue) and whether your hands and feet are normal temp.
