I thought I remember hearing that soy is one of the crops that is often GMO, or am I wrong about this?
Either way, I am very lactose intolerant but my body seems to like organic cultured butter (from regular cows milk). I really don't see it as being an unhealthy substance, but I think this will vary from person to person. If you're not big on regular butter, then I would suggest using raw organic coconut oil.
I think I would stay away from most substitute soy products, some may be okay, but in general they seem to have many additives and harmful substances. Have you ever read the ingredients on a box of soy burgers? It is an evil substance.
