Re: Chrisb1
Okay, you don't want to water fast. I hear that. :-) You seem to actually be "feasting", instead. (and this is a
Water Fasting forum, so maybe we are now going quite far off-topic.) final word on that is, I encourage you to read some of the literature, like the
Shelton and others.

Maybe on the FAQ there is a good list of links to the "fasting masters" books online.(This a bit of a question to Chris and others) Nothing to buy! These guys will relieve your concerns and reward your time.!!! seriously.
I was able to stop looking everywhere around these parts, for (and at) the latest recommended supplement, cleanse, herb, or silver bullet, by simply reading some of these old books. (These are also the guys btw that mh gets much of his inspiration/education from: some old doctors and doctor-types who left that mainstream world and saw the value of fasting and a natural diet.)
The thing is, you have to do a lot of reading...and then you will have some grounding, so that when you read this and that post about someone's experience, you won't go off half-cocked :-) and can weigh it calmly against what you've read, and then, gauge it all according to your own, informed experience.

The Schulz broth IS a potassium broth, and the thing about it is, it is very alkalizing, which is why he says "don't take it if you are well." Why? Because you can have a strong cleansing reaction, causing you to dump a lot of acid waste. And maybe, to again have the sort of buildup of waste you just recently experienced? For someone who just took quite a lot of castor oil, in order to get things moving, and was feeling in dire shape you are taking in quite a rich diet, it now sounds like. Anyway, BTW, I also posted some mineral broth recipes here, under the re-feeding post, just today -- Something told me somebody wanted to know.

I do have to wonder why you keep wanting to compare yourself to someone else -- and, to do as much as you can at any one time. (why cayenne now? To "heal" the stomach?) Now is the time to be simple, imv. Cayenne can wait. But that's just my view. The thing you *have to do* is to come to your own views--and yes, more reading would really help. (Not the message-post kind, but some sustained study)
Dr. Mom -as one example- has her own unique body ( and mind) and response to the orange juice fast, etc. Don't forget she is an "MH" (master herbalist) too, and is used to lots of herbs, etc. In any case, you could drive yourself crazy wondering why you are not the same as someone else you happen to like, and want to be like.

last word, i promise. The memory resurfacing? I don't think that can -or ever ought to be- suppressed again. (or wished away) sometimes, doing all kinds of cleansing, semi-fasting and feasting and getting really involved with others is just a way to stay too busy to deal with what's happening naturally, and what would be very good to 'let go of'.
As with the bowels thing, before the letting go, there's a big "load" of stuff. (and EFT helps. It's a tool--just like meditation or prayer.)
anyway,
success in all your endeavors.
