Re: healthy liver tonic

There are many salads with beetroot. In this version you can use these amounts:
1 small raw beetroot or 1/2 big or middle size
1 big apple or 2 small
1 carrot
1 lemon

Peel the beetroot and grate it, peel the apples and grate them and the same thing for the carrot. After it squeeze the lemon add the lemon juice ( you can use half the lemon if the salad becomes too sour. Do not make it too sour. If it is too sour you can use sweet apples (red or yellow). Then add olive oil( 1 or 2 tbspn) and mix everything well. The oil help dissolve fat- soluble vitamins and stimulate the liver.
Here are links with similar salads:

You can experiment with different fruits. It is good.
Google: "beetroot salad" and you will find plenty of good combinations.

And about the tea: Peppermint, fennel seed, chamomile, St John's wort. Combine 2 or three of them by your choice. These herbs are not aggressive like dandelion root or ginger root. Drink it hot. It will relax you and stimulate your liver.
Hope this helps.
