From what you say, I wonder if your cravings don't stem from yeast in your system. You don't have a yeast infection for the little beggars to be making havoc in your life! Once they squeeze through your colon into the blood, it's off to the liver and then... anywhere they like! I have had colonies set up IN MY BRAIN (you suffer from brain fog something fierce and are sluggish etc.). Until you get the yeast out they will scream for what they love--sugar and BREAD!
The diet plan you're talking about sounds ideal for this problem. I'd stick to the lower glycemic fruits--Granny Smith apples are particularly good, and add fresh ginger which is an antifungal. You may want to consider doing a candida cleanse at some point.
