I will find this info. but there is a seal of approval by some agency of which I forget the name. It is an agency that has a lab that tests vitamins for the correct amts and potencies. I know 'Nature Made' vitamins are one and Kirkland Signature another. I was calcium deficient so I did a little test. I started taking Nature Made's calcium and then had my doctor run another calcium test which came back up and normal. So it must have worked.
I have been hearing rave reviews from Jarrow products especially their probiotics. Try going on Amazon.com and reading the very interesting reviews there. That seems to help. I know Jarrow gets very high reviews on Amazon. I work in a lab I have personally witnessed whole vitamin pills passing undigested in feces. So you are right in being concerned about this issue and finding the best vitamins.
update: I found it and it's called the USP pharmacopeia seal of approval. Look into it.
