I think any herbal tea you add to nettle won't negate the effects - you can play around with the taste.

I've been doing something wacky lately. I've been adding cayenne tincture to my teas and some juices. It certainly spices up the taste! It's like a Bloody Maria with tabasco or habanero sauce in it. Wow! Now that's a kick!
