Hi. Since you asked for ideas, here's a suggestion for a bandaid measure - meaning it won't address the root cause:
Start with 2 cups warm water in morning, followed by a combo of lemon juice, olive oil, & olive leaf extract (or substitute canola or mineral oil).
The latter should be in the ratio your tongue is comfortable with (i.e. if you're acid-intolerant, minimize the lemon, if you can't tolerate virgin olive oil, try the lite) and add some warm water to the mix. Maybe try adding some molasses or honey as well, since that may render it more effective.
Then follow up with yogurt accompanied by syrupy waffles or fudge grahams washed down with decaf Spearmint tea, or licorice tea, etc.
