Your son is like me. I have a terribly persistent cough but no aching ribs. He may have a bad case of post nasal drip (what I have) that will cause a persistent cough. There is much info. on post nasal on the net. Maybe take out some dairy and have him drink more water. He's allergic to something, maybe winter allergies. Tweet
