So, how many per night were you taking?
The theory never has changed yet:
4 - 15 minutes before bed
2 - anytime you wake up as often as needed through the night

Then it was always suggested, "if" herbs can help, these are about the strongest I would suggest that as well accepted as safe at any dose with no side effects or "forced" sleep and if not satisfied, then medical drugs.
I have always suggested sleeping is an acid condition and one the chiropracptor may be needed if the skull is out of place.

Simple alkaline diet suggested in Book I
Step III
Chiropractor treatment/opinion
Step IV
Seek professional help by an M.D. and if needed, a doctor to help with emotional issues.

My guess in all cases, BOOK I will cure every case accept for those that have a skull plate shifted that stimulates a gland above the ear that makes a hormone that forces the body to not sleep.

So the Sleep Eze product is just an herbal aid
One clue is you suggested it "did" work.
"IF" it could work one night and not the next, it could be the "mind" more than phsyical. Just a theory.
Normal good work through the day, DO NOT NAP or lay around all day, but work, stay active, get plenty of sunshine and fresh air and try to go to bed about 11 PM and wake up sharp at 6-7 am. Stay active for 16 hours, take a nice long warm soothing bath just prior to bed. Have no sex problems, avoid family/work conflicts and don't take your problems to bed.
Additionally, the current book I am studying may give many more clues to learn how to sleep properly. So far the lady author has pointed out that I have slept wrong my entire adult life and by doing so, am wearing my body out by worthless over use of the muscles. She identifies every "BAD" habit learned in bed and I have been doing everyone of them, I was a bit surprized, because I have never read of this subject before and see how the medical author writing the too thin book became my favoriter author, he learned from this lady author and applied what he learned from her for his sleep habit. So in fact, if we do not conqueer our very bad sleeping habits, we are pretty much burning the candle at both ends 24/7 never properly resting and no herb, no water therapy, etc. is going to cure us of a learned bad habit. This author died a very/very long time ago and she noted few to no adult humans sleep properly, they all struggle in their sleep...they "burn" their life away while sleeping. It almost sounds like we all have a certain degree of MS while we are sleeping.
How many humans ever think about how they sleep? How many of us ever thought about it? We are more apt to blame it on our mattress or our personal life stress levels.
According to this author, she says NONE of us sleep like babies, UNLESS we know what we are doing, why we are doing it and make a concious effort to retrain our habit of sleeping to a proper state.
Then we have the "poor" reader that always ask? How old was this author when SHE DIED! So quick to anounce that she is just another nut seeking to sell her book! That is just 1 of many reasons to not mentoin authors names, because we know many if not most never used herbs, never knew about worms, etc... BUT, they still had 1 piece of the puzzel to offer and that puzzel spells out LONGEVITY.
