on day 19 of my lemon/maple syrup/Cheyenne pepper cleansing fast, i had a little bit of indigestion periodically. by day 23 it was so bad that it would wake me up at night. i took a small glass of what and put about 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in it and would take sips to remove the burning when needed. At day 23 i went to all water fast, thinking the lemon juice and pepper might be irritating something.
i have looked on the internet and all say that fasting clears acid reflux and ulcers. Why am i just starting these issues during the fast? what could be causing it? how can i reduce it?
i have tried peppermint tea and 8 bags straight in 4 10oz. mugs does very little. might make it a bit less for about one hour and that is about it.
