Re: Carrots and Carotenemia

The vitamin'A'in carrots is betacarrotien it is turned into vitamin'A' by the liver. The liver will not poison the body with this source of vitamin'A'.Only animal sources of vitamin'A'can be toxic, due to to much.Carrots make a great tasting juice but is high on the glycemic index.Moderation is always a good thing to apply in life! When I first started juicing I also turned an orangish color. Its nothing to be concerned about.Try to add more greens to the mix, greens are great for the body.Be wise be green be healthy, may you be blessed with vibrant health!!
