this may clear some things up...
I have had many discussions on these boards and with individuals on the differences of Organic and Inorganic minerals...
Myth of Organic and Inorganic Minerals
http://circle-net.com/Page13MythofOrganicandInorganicMinerals.html
Of note is hierarchy...
quote...
K, Potassium; Na, Sodium; Ca, Calcium; Mg, Magnesium; Al, Aluminum; Zn, Zinc; Fe, Iron; Ni, Nickel; Sn, Tin; Co, Cobalt; Mn, Manganese; Pb, Lead; Cu, Copper; Hg, Mercury; Ag, Silver; Pt, Platinum; Au, Gold.
If a higher power mineral is injected into an aqueous solution containing lower power mineral compound, the higher power mineral replaces the lower power mineral. The ion exchange in a water softener works with this principle. Hard water contains too much calcium compounds and sodium chlorides (salt tablets) are interjected into the water softener to removed calcium and occupy the place where calcium was and the calcium is combined with the chlorine to form calcium chloride and calcium chloride precipitates to the bottom of the unit that is back washed out periodically.
end quote...
Obviously activity and expression of a mineral depends upon isotope, however, if one gets enough Mg, K, NA, and Ca, undesirable minerals such as Al, Pb, and Hg, are removed from the body... chelation the natural way. In addition, disposition of minerals in the body can differ from open lab results... Kervran, and biological transmutations come to mind.
It is also obvious that these minerals are complimented by the right proteins, fats, and sugars... (live carbons and the various mineral\element cycles) so do not get hung up on them with tunnel vision; see the forest through the trees.
Isn't this what ML has been stating... in not so many words?
Eat as best you can, get the Mg, Ca, K and Na, AND all the other trace minerals your body requires and your body, even if it is now overrun with Pb, Hg, and\or Al, will clean itself out over time...
That Pb and Hg are so far down the list, and that people seem to have problems with them, is very telling as to what mineral deficiencies permeate the population.
No need to be afraid... no need to panic... knowledge is power and freedom.
