Re: Question about milk for baby.
Hello,
My son is about 11 months old
OK, FUN AGE OF STARTING TO STAND/WALK
and was breastfed for the first six months of his life.
GREAT
I am aware that he should have been breastfed longer,
YOU DID BETTER THAN 90% OF THE WOMEN ON EARTH
probably until his teeth all came in, but this was not possible as the mother couldn't produce much after a few months.
THERE ARE HERBS THAT HELP WITH THIS, WE CALL A FORMULA "MILK AID". SUCH HERBS HISTORICALLY ENABLED MEN TO DEVELOPE MILK TO SAVE THE BABIES LIFE WHEN THE MOTHER HAD DIED.
Since then, he's been feed soy milk formula.
YUK
I'm becoming increasingly aware of how bad that crap is, and want to get him on some better alternatives.
IF HE WAS ABLE TO HANDLE IT AND NOT GET ALL CONGESTED, THEN HE CAN. SOME BREAST FED BABIES HAVE A HARD TIME ADAPTING TO THE MAN MADE FORMULAS.
Raw goats milk sounds like an option to me, but I question whether whole milk like that is too concentrated for someone that young. What do you think?
ORGANIC GOATS MILK IS A BIG THING ANYMORE, AVAILABLE AT MOST LARGE GROCERY STORES. ALWAYS CHECK THE DATES AND GET THE FRESHEST. DILUT WITH 50% DISTILLED WATER AND WE ALWAYS ADDED A LITTLE OLIVE LEAF AND A DROP OF DILUTED OREGANO. WE ALSO PUT A LITTLE BABY CALM IN MOST EVERY BOTTLE.

Could you offer some suggestions?
Thanks.
