DQ, I don't mean to only put up posts that argue with you, because I agree with most things you say, but there certainly are weaknesses in your arguement. We all are a strain on society in one form or another. Obviously it is hard to argue that alcohol or tobacco should be legal when most other recreational drugs are not. But what about junk food? The cost(s) of a bad diet on society and our health care system which we all pay for, is tremendous. Most people around here will agree that general lifestyle and diet is one of the greatest causes of sickness and disease. But should McDonalds be banned or have a health tax put on it?
