Re: Why so many calories?
This point has been scientifically proven by a group of people who practice Calorie Restriction with Maximum Nutrition. Basically they eat the foods with the most nutrition for the least calories, like greens. They live longer and are incredibly healthy.
For me personally, the SAD has created in me issues with cravings, some physical, and for this reason I've not been able to stick to such low cals for long. However, I've recently started the
Water Cure and I've found the cravings almost completely gone when taking regular
Sea Salt . It's as if my body sees the trace minerals that it needs and says, "never mind, I don't need food right now". Seriously, CARB CRAVINGS are gone in the morning after my salt. I'm really liking it - it is helping with my eating goals. I thought I'd throw that out there since we're off topic. :)
