my sense of the 'too thin' person is that (aside from parasites) they are rather like these filaments on light bulbs that flicker at a rapid pace(these are the old kind of bulbs) ..like the canary in the coal mine...they are, to use an astrological term, operating at a *high burn rate*.

i actually remember being a lot like the person in your excerpt, of 'holding the head up' and all that feeling of tension. The jerk of release when falling asleep.
it always felt to me (as a child) like tripping off a sidewalk -- into a sand dune.



i'm certain i was nutritionally depleted as a child--and then loaded with mercury, fluoride, etc..

it's been a concerted effort at remineralizing ( and a grasp of pH) that has made the most difference in my life, these past recent years(physically--which of course spills over). i'm your age mh.
