Hi Dr Mom, I have been reading all the pregnancy books I can get my hands on. Regarding calcium , I have read that i need a certain amount each day. I tend not to eat dairy products. What else can I do? Should i try calcium supplements or just try to eat other calcium rich foods? One last thing. I woke up in the middle of the night with a horrible pain in the middle of my breastbone that went right through to my back, I could feel it when I breathed in . What do you think this was? It tended to be slightly better when I sat up and lasted a couple of hours. Thanks very much for your advice.
