i have the same kind of issues. i think i am very sensitive to both Sugar and wheat, cause they both seem to start an addictive binge cycle for me when i even eat just a little, but if i avoid all the right foods i seem to have more control over it.
Potatoes not Prozac is a book that worked for me, and Eat to Live is a really good one as well. They explain how Sugar and wheat can react to some people like a drug. so you eat more even when you are full.
