Hi all. I posted on the fasting forum that I decided to start a new workout program instead of a fast at this time. I started out(about a month ago) walking on the treadmill for 30 minutes. I would do aprox 2 miles in 30 minutes. I've worked my way up to 3 miles in 45 minutes and have recently trimmed the time down to 40 minutes. I do this twice a day now.
My goal is to do 3 miles in 30 minutes twice a day. I know I won't break any speed records, but for me this would be a great short term goal to achieve.
I have about 20 lbs I would like to lose after losing 10 so far. (at my highest weight I was 70 lbs overweight) I hope to do this by the end of April because of a cruise I have planned. I would love to be at my ideal weight for the cruise.
My main reason for wanting to exercise and lose weight is to feel better. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. I was watching one of my favorite movies, Shawshank Redemption" and heard a great line..."it's time to get busy living or get busy dying". It's time for me to get busy living!
