I agree absolutely with one tiny change. If you choose a change of diet to detox and regain health and a vegan diet sounds awful to you, you can still go a long way without going vegan such as removing bad things slowly: soda, coffee, sugar, dairy. White flour. Juice fasting is gentler than water wasting: you could do one day a week over time while improving diet. (Real juice, not juice drinks with sugar, of course.)
