Re: DVD COPIER, by MH

Barefoot,
Look into the stand alone DVD towers. They have different configurations depending on your application. I have seen 1:1, 1:3, 1:5, 1:7 (means number of bays), they even have upto 10 bays at a time. They are very easy to use and most come with an internal hard drive that way you can load to the internal drive and then burn as many copies as you like. Plus, you have less chance for errors to occur while burning. Also, if you don't want the hard drive then you can burn disc to disc, but loading to hard drive is much more reliable. The controller card nowadays are being manufactured by the same companies (ACARD - ASUS), but the main thing to keep in mind is the brand of drives. NEC drives have taken over Pioneer, but whatever you do I don't recommend Sony..stick with NEC or Pioneer, but if you have extra money to spend Plextor is good, but very costly. I think it would save you allot of time and headache. Plus with all this good information you have we cannot let technology stand in the way of not being able to share it.

A few brands that I purchased in the past were:
Verity Systems - Decent COmpany based in London
Vinpower Digital - Good company based in Southern California
Microboards - Based on the East coast, quality, but very expensive

Also, look on Ebay sometimes they have good deals.

As for price, I know the price has come down quite a bit, so good luck with everything.
