Jeremy: some things to add

Hi Jeremy:

I hope that I don't add more confusion to the matter but I would like to add a few things

>> Yes the dietary could offer a big help :: I would add that a Japanese doctor created a Macrobiotic diet that has proven to work... I had a client who lived quite some time after being diagnosed with cancer, and lived quite well using this diet. He does need some protein, it is very essential.

>> juicing offers some really good ways to get the vegetables in, but make sure you sterilize them (they can carry bacteria/protozoa that would weaken the immune response) - I would suggest using a UV C light wand and buy organic don't waste your time with commericial grown.

>> Garlic keeps popping up in my head for him see this article about cancer and garlic :::http://www.naturalnews.com/000146.html

>> Anthocyanins are potent cancer fighters (resveratrol being one of those)

http://www.newhope.com/nutritionsciencenews/nsn_backs/Dec_01/antho.cfm
I knew someone whose cancer went into remission using a resveratrol type of product.

>>Vitamin C has been shown to have anti-tumor properties A product called SuperC has vitamin C with bioflavinoids and anthocyanins.

>>Magnesium is absolutely vital for proper immune function (NK cells etc). You can obtain this from leafy green vegetables and also in supplement form (stay away from magnesium Oxide) Try magnesium chloride or a product called UltraMag And I would state that all minerals in their proper form are necessary. As are the vitamin co-factors especially the b vitamins (B6, B12, folic acid) Use a product that is a co-enzymated form.

>>Have his doctor check his vitamin D3 status... absolutely necessary... Vit D info keeps coming out concerning its role in immune status

>> Supportive herbs such as Red Clover Combination are good for blood cleansing and you might consider looking at a product by Zand's called Astragulus Plus.
