Not sure if this will reach you, but I've heard that many children diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, etc., actually have undiagnosed sleep apnea, a condition I have. Your child may need a sleep study done, prescribed by an ear, nose and throat doctor (usually). Now I always sleep with a CPAP (continuous positive air pressure) machine every night, and it keeps my throat open so I don't snore and stop breathing. Untreated "Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea" can lead to high blood pressure and other health problems. It may be an answer for you.
