Re: Alkalizing Drink...

I don't have a problem with the drink per se. I tried it twice but was unable to stomach the strong taste of the kelp. I know some are wary of the pickling lime, but I don't know enough about it to give any type of worthwhile opinion. It is very similar to the debate about distilled water - there are hardcore supporters and detractors. A number of people have seen great success with ML's drink. My problem is with the whole idea that our health (and even the universe) runs on the acid/alkaline principle. I don't buy that for a second. A lot of ML's advice is good, it's just that there is no way to get around the fact that he is a one trick pony. There is nothing wrong with that if it is a great trick, but the rub occurs when you fail to admit it and in my mind lead people on. On a more positive note, he has been on his best behaviour since he stopped leaving his forum, so I can honestly say that I am glad he is still around.
