we normally don't buy the navel oranges, i know the honey bell is the most expensive and they have been costing $18 a case, so i assume the navel will be $14-$16, but have no clue until we pay for them. you know how truckers like to put sure charges on everything they haul anymore, and they also just state this was a bad season for the oranges and "jack" the price up......so until we are at the back of the truck, i can't really tell you what their price will be. i think they are on the internet, if i remember correctly they are s&s.
there are all sorts of laws about shipping raw fruits, each state making up laws to protect their own farmers, etc.. it would never be practical to reship oranges due to their weight. the cases are heavy. someone coming to the seminar by way of car, could easily take back home the oranges, but we would have to buy them 1 week in advance.
