Re: why am i so hungry??

Hi peacelovinggirl,
The Christopher juicing regimen is also a juice fast.
I don't know if it has to be the Christopher cleanse. I happened to do that one, because I got his booklet at the time I got my pre cleanse kit.
I wanted to kick start it, and figured I don't hate prune juice all that much, and maybe it would be an okay sub for the epsom salt approach.
I also did apple jucing instead of orange juice, and I did mitigate it with a bit of greens towards the end. Soon up is a full bore 14 days, maybe longer OJ fast.
In the meantime it's at least a better diet for me.
But i have to tell you, it takes a while to shift, and it's not often a straight line for most people. Unless you're in some kind of critical state, the direction you're headed is probably more important than the speed, so above all don't let frustration be the victor.

I didn't know that you were doing the all fruit as a cleanse. Although as a break from the other diet, it automatically is. I know it is for me. You probably should include some greens (young, tender is best)as long as they are not hard to digest like Kale for now. Again try green smoothies as they are definitely filling.

Barefoot's answer is below. What I was trying to explain with the epsom salts is related to the answer, which is read book one. It's a free download, and Barefoot's modification of the fast is in there.

It doesn't seem like you are doing anything wrong, but you'll have to get used to it, if you stick with it. The cravings actually do subside. But I would go with the OJ cleanse using the epsom salts. What Barefoot mentioned about the ulcers and stomach wall damage will be healed-- cleaning out the mucous, and then not making the stomach work will allow that to happen. I can't say for sure the cravings will go away yet, because I haven't done the 14 day oj fast yet, but I'll find out. Hopefully the epsom salts won't be so bad. I've seen stories where people just can't do it.
And I don't know if the salts can be 'mitigated' by adding syrup or molasses, and still be effective. We'll see, soon.

As far as the meat thing goes, I'm guessing that your body is still looking to have that and that's another reason for the 'hunger'. It's not hunger (as in need) but sounds more like craving.

Hang in there, (and download book one of the website)
Jeff
