Re: Day 11
Hello melinastravels,
after the body has been cleansed from fasting it is also re-educated during this process into craving only those foods that it is biologically/physiologically suited, and the mere thought of a cheeseburger (or similar non-food foods) can be very nauseating and even disgusting.
Mouseclick recently emphasized this as his own experience in several of his posts after his first and subsequent prolonged fasts. This was also my own experience after my prolonged fasts and which has carried thru to this day from 30 years ago.
If anyone is craving a processed food of any kind (including cheeseburgers) this is an indication that the fast has not been of sufficient duration in accomplishing the above.
However, it is also true to say that during a prolonged fast the effluent materials within the colon are sterilized, and it is the experience of many that much if not all of this waste is absorbed as "fuel" as long as the fast is of sufficient length. The body will also utilize and prioritize internal sources of nourishment and where it will "target" waste material first and foremost as a means of sustenance.
A truly clean internal metabolic environment will only crave those foods that it needs nutritionally & to which we are biologically adapted, and where the craving for adulterated foods is generally looked upon as a perversion of the natural desires and wants of the body by an unclean toxic-laden body.
If you persist in clean living habits and adhere to a properly combined diet of natural foods post-fast, coupled with a fast or series of fasts of sufficient duration, your cravings will be normalized, and where your health will benefit enormously.
Kind Regards
