I have always tried to jump into fasting in a desperate attempt at detox and the hopes that fasting will cure all of my health ailments. When you read all of the wonderful things fasting can do it is not surprizing that people will jump into it and disregard the preparation involved in order to be sucessful.
That's why I stick around here on this forum (usually to the point of annoyance) but in the process I have learned a lot about health in general. I normally have a lot of muscle pain and ill health in general but recently have turned my focus on minerals, as opposed to my obsession with vitamins.
I have been taking calcium and magnesium (with vitamin D and zinc) which I have never done before and my muscle aches are fading and the pain in my hips and bones in my legs seemed to have gone. My skin on my face also seems to have a glow to it which is making me look a lot younger. I wish I could jump into a fast because I have wanted to do this for so long but I am going to try and be patient and really build up my stores before I try to do this.
Thanks to bling, Chiron and Chris for all of your mineral advice. It will be exciting to see if building up my nutrition stores correctly this time will allow me to fast successfully as others are able to do here on this forum.
