And, since you live on rural property and if you have the privacy (and feel okay doing this) get naked! OMG! "Air baths" were all the rage at the turn of the last century - and it helps your skin to breathe! :) Dry skin brushing is also very helpful.
We have groups ("health societies") here in the US that are dedicated to the principle of nude sunbathing for health -- and -- if you can find one for women only (which is what I did) it's much easier to become comfortable doing it for health reasons. It is a little weird first -- but, after a while, it's not so weird and it just feels lovely to have the air on your skin.
You can be very discreet about it - I wear a wrap, and only unwrap when I am down on the ground on my towel. :)
