Holith,
cortisol treatments such as Isocort are only replacing the work that your adrenals should be performing anyway, and where this will make your adrenal glands more dormant and inactive by taking it. They are a fairly good stop-gap treatment protocol but only in the short-term.
What you need to do is to reactivate your adrenal function to normal levels and where the regimen I described in my previous post will do this.
You also mention that the cortisol levels within your Isocort are fairly low so it should not present any problems with its discontinuance and the commencement of a water fast, which will enable your body to self-heal and where you will need to bed-rest a great deal of the time to achieve this.
Not fasting for at least 6 months after discontinuing Isocort is mainstream thinking which knows next to nothing of the fasting process.
So do not be apprehensive about the protocol I have outlined as this will enable you to recover your overall endocrine function and not just your adrenals and which will also rid you of the Candida Overgrowth you suffer from.
