Re: Chris-eating raw first
Hi bling,
chlorella has strong chelating qualities as it binds to metals within the body and is therefore extremely good for detox of those elements.
Wheatgrass is also reported to have chelating and heavy metal detox qualities but as far as I am aware not nearly as effective as chlorella. Wheatgrass is best juiced to obtain the maximum nutritional value from it. In its non-juiced form wheatgrass is non-digestible due to high levels of cellulose and being very fibrous.
Yes, I think alternate days for both chlorella/wheatgrass is a good idea if not on the same day at different times perhaps. A very powerful combination nutritionally and for detox.
Raw can be difficult if you are not used to it but I would try 70% raw and 30% cooked/steamed if totally raw is not possible. I eat about 70% to 80% raw and the remainder as steamed or baked.
I can empathize with the non-organic taste of kiwi.......try non-organic carrot juice.......................it will put you off for life.
Yep, I agree with you in fasting one day a week with either juices or water-only, but very important to combine your foods properly to prevent further toxicity.
The hair-mineral analysis should prove to be very interesting after you have been on wheatgrass & chlorella for some time.
If you cannot juice the wheatgrass (which can be a bit of a pain)I would buy the powder from a reputable source.
