Re: goitrogen
they pledged their lives, their fortunes and their honor. most people these days have none of the above but dont want to give up the things they have that substitute for such things, like their house, their 401k, their career and/or licenses. and lets face it, this country has no problem throwing people in jail and losing the key. all those that didnt protest it for others have nothing to bitch about now. totalitarianism isnt a person, its a system of government. you hear it all the time from rabid pseudo patriots - america, love it or leave it. what they are really saying is, be like us or be ostracized or die. thats been the policy at home and around the world for some time. everyone found it easy to climb on board the train because it didnt interfere with them, it didnt adversely affect THEM, it only applied to other people who were labeled as BAD. well, this is where the tracks have led to, and the tracks have been there all along. no excuses. what applies to one applies to all. judges handing out decades of prison time without batting an eye while real criminals with lots of money go scott free. same thing the crowds did by demanding jesus be crucified and barabbas(a murderer) be set free.
btw, barabbas means "son of the father". people still go by appearances and flowery speech today. and they still have a lust for blood. just wait till that surfaces right here in river city. oh boy!
