Smart water in my opinion is a dumb idea if someone is doing a water only fast.
If I remember right, it has vitamins an other things in it for health benefits.
These additives only prevent the body from fully achieving the state where deep fasting takes place.
In other words, it interferes with the fast.
To get the true benefits of the Water Fast it should be water only.
The body has plenty of nutritional reserves for at least a month on water only.
Adding nutritional elements aren't necessary for nutritional purposes.
I wish I had the references on this at hand.
Sometime I will look for it.
The advice about putting the scale away is a good one.
Don't worry, you will definetly be losing weight if you can keep the fast going properly.
Especially if its water only.
