If IP6 chelates the wrong forms of iron, why would it be suggested that anemics not take IP6? Scare tactic and ignorance? I'm workin on refilling my iron reserves right now, they're in the pooper. I read that you didn't have a problem with iron stores after taking IP6.

It won't touch iron in blood but may take away some reserves. For me this is a non issue since...well I am not a vegetarian :)
BTW: Maca is a great source of iron

One more question - did/do you take other things concurrently with IP6? I've been taking minerals in the afternoon to fill the reserves back up, but read that you shouldn't do anything else with IP6.
<<
Since IP6 binds to Mercury I take it about 1hr after my DMSA dose (to make sure it isn't lost on Hg) a couple of times a week. I take 2g and don't take anything else for 1hr, then I usually take a CalMag supplement or TLC with Boron.
EDIT
I should add that if you are taking it to control TB then don't supplement with iron in any form other than food and take it daily.
