confirms a lot of what i have already heard from folks like the organic consumers union. apples, cherries and grapes are highly contaminated. higher concentrations up the food chain - meats. and anything precooked, processed and/or concentrated. red tea, of course.

i have learned how to be a good cook through the years and i find the secret to the best flavor is reduction - concentrating flavors by cooking off moisture. this concentrates everything in it. the water comes off fairly free of whats left in the pot. just like you can always add more but cant take any back out, good cooking is only as good as the ingredients that are put in it. this is another reason i dont trust concentrated fruit juices and powders - everything in them is concentrated. i get enough halogens and heavy metals just by breathing.
