Re: Something new

Mm, I wouldn't recommand drastic weightloss if you are having actual gallbladder issues (ie, painful attacks.) I honestly think that was one of the things that really killed my gallbladder and it wasn't really planned on my part, it was just the result of the attacks (I had great nausia problems during my attacks and usually couldn't eat a day or so afterwards without bringing on another attack) and diet. It wasn't so bad at first, but as I started dropping weight, the attacks got more frequent, longer in duration, and more painful.

As I added exercise (well, kinda; I was walking a mile a day going to classes), my attacks grew worse. I had an attack almost everyday and even the least fatty foods (boneless, skinless chicken breasts, etc) drove me into attack. Which resulted in me losing even more weight and thus having more attacks. The last attack I had lasted over 26 hrs and after that, my gallbladder became inflamed. That pain was on a whole new lvl of pain and that lasted 9 days (the last day being the day of my surgery.)

I'm just saying this as a warning. You're body is already out of wack. Don't throw in rapid weightloss to tip it over the edge.
