Re: water fasting questions beginner

I did a SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) on the first day--that was a nice beginning. Had BMs (spontaneously)on aprox. the 8th, 17th and last day--Before breaking the fast. (day 29)
I think thinking about Watermelon brought the last BM on.

Only water. Distilled, and then spring water--because that's what I had.
"according to thirst"--is what most go by, on this forum.

I've come to realize the concept of 1/2 your body weight in ounces fits in more with the picture of eating/digesting/assimilating(which takes a lot of energy and the more grains and junk you consume the more water is needed),and cleansing with herbs and clay etc.
than it does with *water fasting*.

The body, in its wisdom determines how much it wants. In the beginning, maybe a litre or two a day for me--toward the end, mere ounces. A glass at most. After the fast--lots of high water-content fruit. Fifteen days sounds like a good length. Even better might be to have no set days, and listen to the body. Go day by day.
The best method is to do as little as possible to get the most benefit.

I went day by day--wish at times I'd gone longer, but am seeing that it was probably for the best that I ended when I did.

I'll do another shorter one in awhile. I feel strongly there's another week-or ten days work -another level- to complete.

best to you!
