Re: Those who go to school...or work

It's actually easier to fast when you're in school, at least for me (and I'm in high school)
I find it difficult to actually fast at home, that's my problem...more of because my parents are here and notice my absence of eating. For 8 hours all you're doing is sitting down, taking notes, walking from class to class, talking with friends only when they address you (I don't like talking unless I have to when fasting), etc...
It's just easier, and you have no food there to tempt you (unless your friend offers food or you buy food with money)
I'm fasting on wednesday(24th) and then continuing from there because it's easier to start in the middle of the week, try it.
But anyway, good luck, it IS harder when you have to work and go to school. We'd all like to go to a deserted forest and just stay there for as long as we want to fast alone...but heh, we can't all have it our way.
